We designed a lakeside mandap draped in ivory chiffon and fresh jasmine, ferried guests across Lake Pichola at golden hour, and lined the ghats with 2,000 hand-lit diyas for the pheras. The sangeet unfolded in a palace courtyard with a live qawwali troupe, and the finale — a fireworks reflection dancing on the water — left even our own crew misty-eyed. Eleven months of planning, forty-three vendors, zero moments left to chance.
